1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat sugars, butter, vanilla and egg white in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flours, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded tsps.full about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
